Thursday, April 30, 2009:  BenQ, a provider of networked digital lifestyle devices, has launched its G series LCD monitors in India. The newly launched series offers four models -- BenQ G920HDA, BenQ G2020HD, BenQ G2220HD and BenQ 2410HD, which come equipped with the aspect ratio of 16:9 and a contrast ratio of 40,000:1 with 5ms response time.

Ideal for home and office applications such as movies, games, presentations etc., the G series LCD monitors render 720p to 1080p full high definition content such as Blu-ray movies and console games.

With the screen sizes ranging from 18.5 inch to 23.6 inch, consumers have ample choices to meet their specific usage. The BenQ G2020HD,  and BenQ 2410HD LCD monitors display Full HD content in its native 16:9 format without the distortion, resizing or black bars that plague 16:10 displays.

The BenQ G920HDA LCD monitor boasts a 2-lamp design that emits a bright 300 nits, which helps in saving substantial energy and cutting carbon dioxide and mercury emissions. The G2410HD LCD monitor is further enhanced by AMA Technology (Advanced Motion Accelerator) for increased brightness and faster response time.

BenQ exclusive image enhancement engine, Senseye+photo comes standard in all four models and features optimised standard, dynamic, photo, movie and even NSTL-certified sRGB preset modes.

BenQ G series LCD monitors MOP (market operating price) range is from Rs 6,500 to Rs 11,500. The new products from BenQ are now available through all BenQ dealers.
