Samsung has launched a series of energy-efficient LED High Definition televisions in the Indian market, priced between Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 3.5 lakh. It is reportedly the first organisation to introduce the LED TVs in India. Samsung India has launched three LED HD TV Series -- Series 6 (40-inch), Series 7 (46-inch) and Series 8 (55-inch). Presently, Series 6 and 7 are available in market, but the Series 8 would be available by May.
