Wednesday, May 06, 2009: Acer has launched Acer H Series LCD monitors that boasts 1920 x 1080 full HD widescreen display with 16:9 aspect ratio. H Series monitors also feature Acer SensorTouch technology for touch-sensitive controls. Acer SensorTouch is an advanced touch-sensing solution that takes advantage of capacitive technology. It offers a touch-sensing solution for selection/single-point sensor control with excellent touch-sensitivity performance.
Digital connectivity via an HDMI port and a DVI-D port (HDCP support) ensures hassle-free connectivity to pure-digital devices. Response time of up to 2 ms G/G enables Acer LCDs to deliver high-quality moving pictures for 3D games and videos.
Acer eColor Management enables ultimate image quality while also allowing the user to control various parameters like - uniform brightness, fine contrast, adaptive gamma, optimised sharpness, independent hue, ultra-saturation, and adaptive colour. Using a very high contrast ratio of at least 10000:1, Acer monitors with Acer Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) deliver stunning picture quality - dramatic improvement of gradation and detail, especially for dimmer and brighter scenes. The intelligent ACM technology analyses every scene and adjusts the parameters frame by frame to enhance colour quality and also allows the LCD monitor to use less power and save energy, said the company.
"Our strategy of 'Go Big Go Wide' has been the driving force in our endeavour to offer the market bigger and wider form factors and set new standards and add value by bringing out the latest models first to the market. Our unique channel strategy has had a significant impact in not only growing the LCD wide monitor market but the display market as a whole," said S Rajendran, chief marketing officer, Acer India.
